About the role:

The Allied Health Administration and Data Officer provides essential administrative and data assurance support across Allied Health Specialist Clinic Outpatient services at Western Health. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the role supports front-of-house clinic operations, referral and appointment management, waitlist validation, data quality, and effective use of digital health systems. 

 

This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of establishing a new outpatient service from day one with the opening of the New Footscray Hospital in February 2026. The role contributes directly to Western Health’s vision of delivering Best Care, every time, supporting high-quality, coordinated care and offering opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic health service. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide front-of-house administrative support and high-quality patient services across Allied Health Specialist Clinic Outpatients.
  • Manage referrals, appointments, encounters and waitlists to support timely access to care.
  • Ensure data quality and assurance through auditing, reporting and error correction across relevant systems.
  • Maintain effective use of digital health systems and support resource development and training activities. 

 

About you: 

  • Demonstrated administrative experience in a healthcare or similarly complex, fast-paced organisation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear commitment to patient-centred service delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • High level of professionalism, tact and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
