Allied Health Assistant - Grade 3
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant to join our excellent Rehabilitation at Home team providing quality care and rehabilitation services.
The Rehabilitation at Home Program provides intensive, short-term therapy to people immediately after they are discharged from hospital.
The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team offering centre and home-based therapy either face to face or via telehealth to Musculoskeletal, Neurological and general medical client cohorts. They will provide individual and group therapy under the direction of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists.
The AHA G3 will assist with the coordination of the Allied Health workforce in Rehabilitation at Home and the Specialised Rehabilitation program (SRP). In particular, they will work collaboratively with the Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant SRP and Aquatic Therapy Services.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Need excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Have a commitment to delivering high quality, safe and person centred care.
- Have experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Need advanced computer literacy and proficiency
