About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to support the leadership of our dynamic and growing fertility service. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an innovative public fertility program while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and coordination of daily clinical operations within the fertility service.
- Provide leadership and support to nursing and multidisciplinary team members.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based fertility care and support services.
- Foster a positive team culture and promote professional development.
- Collaborate with specialists, at Western and the broader fertility care professionals at the Women’s to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Assist in quality improvement initiatives and policy development.
- Support staff education, training, and mentorship.
- Maintain compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in fertility, women’s health, or reproductive medicine.
- Previous leadership or management experience (desirable).
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of fertility treatment protocols and procedures.
- A passion for reproductive healthcare and improving access to fertility services.
- Proficiency with fertility ultrasound scanning (desirable).
