About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to support the leadership of our dynamic and growing fertility service. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an innovative public fertility program while delivering exceptional patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and coordination of daily clinical operations within the fertility service.
  • Provide leadership and support to nursing and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based fertility care and support services.
  • Foster a positive team culture and promote professional development.
  • Collaborate with specialists, at Western and the broader fertility care professionals at the Women’s to ensure seamless patient experiences.
  • Assist in quality improvement initiatives and policy development.
  • Support staff education, training, and mentorship.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated experience in fertility, women’s health, or reproductive medicine.
  • Previous leadership or management experience (desirable).
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Knowledge of fertility treatment protocols and procedures.
  • A passion for reproductive healthcare and improving access to fertility services.
  • Proficiency with fertility ultrasound scanning (desirable).
