Best Care Coordinator (Quality Partner)

  • Salary: This role is open to candidates covered by three enterprise agreements – Nurses and Midwives, Allied Health Professionals and Health and Allied Services, Managers and Admin. Classification ranges include YW17, YX11, HS26–29, and VG3–VG6, with salary commensurate with skills and experience.

 

About the role

Western Heath's Best Care Governance and Support Division is seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join the team in the role of a Best Care Coordinator (previously Quality Partner).

 

The Best Care Coordinator works collaboratively with senior managers, clinical and non-clinical staff, and consumers to support an effective, co-ordinated, organisation-wide approach to quality system development and implementation.

 

Key responsibilities:

The primary focus of this work can be summarised under the following headings:

  • Patient safety
  • Patient feedback
  • Quality system capability
  • NSQHS and other designated standard support
  • Clinical practice improvement

The Best Care Coordinator plays a role in ensuring that Western Health's approach to quality improvement remains contemporary, focused and based on the best available evidence.

 

About you:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated:

  • Experience and success in a similar role
  • Understanding and experience applying the principles of Clinical Governance
  • Report writing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and high-level communication skills with a collaborative and consultative approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
