Biomedical Engineering at Western Health is seeking a dedicated (Entry to Mid-Level) Biomedical Engineer to join our team for an 11-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by ensuring the optimal performance of medical equipment across all Western Health sites.

 

The Biomedical Engineer will perform repairs on medical equipment, including infusion devices and other low to medium-risk biomedical equipment, ensuring all devices operate safely and effectively.  In addition, they will conduct planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment functionality, calibration, and electrical safety testing are completed annually in line with Australian Standards.
