About the role:

We are seeking a highly professional, self-motivated, Business Intelligence Developer to join the Business Intelligence team within Western Health. The team is responsible for the end-to-end development, delivery, and maintenance of reports and dashboards to support both the Administrative and Clinical functions of the organisation. Drawing from a wide range of source systems the development work primarily involves utilising the Microsoft Business Intelligence tools including Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI to deliver the right information, to the right people, at the right time – and in the format they require. 

 

The successful candidate will have excellent T-SQL skills and will work closely with both clinical and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, meaningful, and actionable datasets and reports. They will confidently navigate complex data environments and contribute to the organisation’s efforts to enhance data quality, accessibility, and insight.

About you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or background in database development, including experience in delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery through a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to provide flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work to meet project deadlines.
