Role Summary: 

Cardiac Physiologist

  • Location: Sunshine & Footscray
  • Employment Type: Part-Time (24 hours/week), Fixed Term (until March 2027)
  • Salary: Grade 3 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

 

About the role:

This role provides an opportunity to work within a supportive team assisting and mentoring junior staff by performing non-invasive cardiac investigations including ECGs, Holter Monitoring and Stress Testing. In addition to attending CIED clinics, reviewing remote monitoring and assisting with Cath Lab procedures.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a culture that promotes effective teamwork, encourages cohesion and ensures staff feel valued
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with doctors, colleagues, patients and their families
  • Be organized with good attention to detail to provide Best Care to our patients
  • Perform CIED checks, assist with CIED clinics, remote monitoring and EP lab sessions

 

About you:

  • Bachelor of Science/Applied Science or equivalent
  • IBHRE for pacing and/or EP, or equivalent
  • Experience in Diagnostic, Interventional, EP and pacing procedures as well as CIED remote monitoring
  • Self-motivated, flexible and have a positive attitude
  • Embrace personal growth and continual learning
