We are seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working collaborative to join the clerical team within the Record and Information Services Department at Western Health. This role is responsible for assisting with the storage, protection, scanning and provision of medical records including medical record documentation required to support patient care at Western Health, ensuring client information is available in a timely and accurate manner. We are a large health service, and this requires services to continue after hours and on weekends and therefore flexibility in availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and scanning of documentation into the scanned medical record (Bossnet)
- Archive scanned documents according to department guidelines
- Processing Request for Information (ROI) applications to ensure other hospitals and health professionals have requested patient information available in a timely manner
