Clinical Nurse Consultant - Community Palliative Care
The Division of Cancer, Cardiology & Specialty Medicine is actively seeking a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC).
The suitably qualified Palliative Care CNC will form part of the dynamic team at Bacchus Marsh Community Palliative Care, supporting clients with life limiting conditions in a community setting.
The Bacchus Marsh Community Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultant will provide specialist palliative management and support to patients, their families and carers within our allocated geographical area.
The CNC will act as a clinical expert in patient care, with a particular focus on problem identification, care planning and symptom management. The CNC will be required to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of skill in Palliative Care Nursing, with the ability to work as a sole clinical in a proficient and safe manner. The CNC must also actively participate in the education of staff within Western Health and at a community level.
This position is offered on a full-time 1.0 FTE basis (a combination of part-time applicants forming 1.0 FTE would also be considered).
