About the role 

Wetern Health Dental operates from Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm (except public holidays). We provide care for patients in our Catchment area. We offer Emergency, General and Denture Care.  

The role of Dental Assistant is to support and assist in the Management of our Dental Clinic. The Dental Assistant can be expected to assist chairside, manage sterilisation of equipment and day to day patient management.

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide clinical chairside assistance to the dental operator in the provision of patient care
  • All interactions with patients, staff and stakeholders show appropriate responses to their needs and demonstarte the application of Western Health Values (CARES-compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and safety)
  • Prepare equipment, dental instruments and dental materials for each patient according to patienmts dental treatment

 

About you:   

  • You will be required to have a minimum of Cert 3 in Dental Assisting
