Deputy Director - Operational Performance & Transformation

About the role:
The Division of Cancer, Cardiology, and Specialty Medicine, is actively seeking a dynamic senior health leader to join us as the Deputy Director, Operational Performance & Transformation. This pivotal role will collaborate closely with Divisional Director and Clinical Services Director to drive key improvement initiatives outlined in the Operations Directorate and Divisional Business Plans.
As the Deputy Director, Operational Performance & Transformation, you will lead the implementation and evaluation of process and system improvement strategies aimed at optimising patient access, safety, operational efficiency, and overall experience within the business unit.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in healthcare delivery and contribute to the success of our new hospital.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and support service redesign to improve flow, access and sustainability
- Analyse operational performance to identify constraints, variation and opportunities for improvement
- Provide clear, data-driven advice to operational and clinical leaders to support decision-making
About you:
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse or allied health professional
- Extensive clinical and management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Improvement and redesign experience
