About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join a cohesive and integrated team, committed to excellence in clinical practice, research and professional development.

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified dietitians for a casual, Grade 2 Dietitian to work a minimum of 2 days per week, initially, at Sunshine Hospital. However, as a casual, you may be required to work on any site of Western Health.

Key responsibilities:

The workload will cover acute and subacute inpatient units across a variety of general medical and specialty medical units. It may include oncology or day oncology, general medical units, aged care, or screening of patients for malnutrition. There may also be opportunity for weekend work and long service leave backfill.

 

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with a preference for prior experience in a tertiary hospital environment.
  • Experience working in an acute hospital setting across a variety of inpatient units and expertise in enteral nutrition management.
  • Experience working in oncology will be highly regarded.
  • Require good organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Relish a busy workload juggling several competing demands.
  • Must have, or be currently eligible for, membership of Dietitians Australia.
