Grade 3/Grade 2 Paediatric and Maternity Dietitian:

  • 12-month Temporary Maternity Leave cover

Applications are invited from suitably qualified dietitians for a full time Maternity Leave Grade 3/2 Dietitian position from 9th June 2025. The workload will primarily include inpatients to the Newborn Services Unit, Newborn Services Outpatients, Young Adolescence Diabetes Service Outpatients and our Young People’s Diabetes Service which requires inpatient and outpatient delivery in the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

 

The role will include the complex-needs multidisciplinary care and work in clinics side by side with the medical team.  This will include work within the Developmental Care Team which has the potential to include quality improvement projects.

 

In addition to Paediatrics, this role will include a small component of Maternity outpatients such as gestational diabetes consultations and group talks.

  • Must have suitable clinical experience.
    • This role is not suitable for new graduates. Please do NOT apply.

  • Relish a busy workload juggling several competing demands
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can work independently and within a well-developed multi disciplinary team
