The role of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Digital Health Analyst requires strong business analysis skills with project delivery experience to support delivering the Automated Medication Dispensing Solution Project on time and ensuring it is fit for purpose.

 

As a Digital Health Analyst you will proactively engage with key clinical areas and stakeholders within Western Health. Your primary focus will be to identify system design requirements and implement sustainable processes in order to implement the Automated Medication Dispensing Solution Project solutions successfully.

 

As a Digital Health Analyst your key responsibilities are to perform gap analysis on the current and future workflows, solve build issues, to support and update project documentation, prepare and execute test scripts, participate in change management and training initiatives, and support organisational readiness of staff prior to and throughout the EMR Go-Live.
 

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have completed a tertiary degree or professional qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics or IT/healthcare related experience.
  • Have a background of at least 12 months in EMR Informatics, with an interest in computerised workflows, best practice, innovation, clinical documentation, and healthcare informatics.
  • Be familiar with Oracle Health EMR or an equivalent EMR system.
  • Be proficient in functioning autonomously and within a complex team environment.
  • Be a critical thinker and have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Have experience using common business analysis software such as Microsoft Visio and Excel to map out current and future state workflows.

 

This is a full time, fixed term position ending September 2025.
