Equipment Nurse

• Salary: RN Grade 2 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

About the role:

The Emergency Department at the new Footscray Hospital is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team for the newly created Emergency Department Equipment Nurse. This is a Monday to Friday (AM) position.

Key responsibilities:

• Arrange trials of new equipment
• Assist with the development of others by providing clinical support and education on equipment functionality to colleagues related to the equipment
• Assist nursing and medical staff with troubleshooting equipment issues when in use on a patient
• Advise education team on product changes to educate staff
• Assist with stock ordering of non imprest items

About you:

• High degree of knowledge and clinical experience in Emergency Nursing
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Equipment nurse role
• Highly desirable - Post Graduate Qualification in Emergency Nursing
