Western Health Gastroenterology is inviting suitably qualified Gastroenterologists to apply for a part-time position. The successful applicant will have outstanding interpersonal and clinical gastroenterology skills and join one of the highest volume gastroenterology services within Victoria, providing care for the western metropolitan region of Melbourne.

 

This is an opportunity for a Gastroenterologist with expertise in clinical gastroenterology as well as endoscopy to be considered for a position as part of a rapidly growing service with state-of-the-art facilities at Sunshine Hospital and the New Footscray Hospital, planned for a 2025 opening.

 

In this role, you will contribute to the clinical supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Commit to Gastroenterology outpatient clinics;
  • Participate in the General Ward service roster as required;
  • Participate in consultant on-call duties as required;
  • Have flexibility in supporting patient care as required across Sunshine and Footscray Hospitals;
  • Be eligible for credentialing as a Gastroenterologist at Western Health.
