About the role:
As an Intensivist at Western Health, you will utilise your advanced technical and non-technical crisis management skills to ensure safe and autonomous clinical practice. You will be at the forefront of making timely, structured, and accurate assessments of a comprehensive range of life-threatening problems in critically ill patients. The Department of Intensive Care Medicine is part of the Division of Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Services The Department is responsible for the provision of Intensive Care services at Western Health’s (WH) Intensive Care Units, which are located at Footscray Hospital and Sunshine Hospital. WH services are managed across Footscray, Sunshine, Sunbury and Williamstown campuses and incorporate an adult and paediatric case mix.

About you:
- Medical Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications.
- Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine
- Substantial relevant experience providing intensive care services
