About the role:

Western Health Cardiology is inviting suitably qualified Interventional Cardiologists to apply for a casual position to support in hours Cardiac Cath Lab sessions and periods of exclusive on call. The successful applicant will have outstanding interpersonal and clinical cardiology skills.

 

This is an opportunity to join one of the highest volume interventional cardiology services within Victoria and the sole public provider of cardiac services within the western metropolitan region of Melbourne. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support leave cover for Interventional Cardiologists across Sunshine and Footscray Hospital.
  • Contribute to the clinical supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers as required.

 

About you:

You will:

  • Have completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Hold current AHPRA registration and be eligible for credentialing as Interventional Cardiologist.
  • Be available to support in hours and after-hours emergency work at Footscray and Sunshine Hospital.
