Western Health has an excellent opportunity for a Lead Pharmacist - Education and Research.

This position is permanent, full-time (80 hours per fortnight) and available now

 

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic hospital pharmacist to strategically plan and lead the education and research initiatives within our department. You will play a pivotal role in developing and building the capability of our rapidly growing pharmacy workforce to advance pharmacy practice and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

 

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold at least 5 years’ broad experience in providing high quality pharmacy services across a range of specialties
  • Have a passion for developing others and driving quality improvement through evidence-based practice
  • Have demonstrated leadership and experience in education and clinical training within a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Have highly developed verbal and written communication skills
