About the role:
In collaboration with the Centre for Education and Learning's Neonatal Education team, Newborn Service's senior leadership team and clinical shift leaders, the Neonatal Clinical Support Nurse will provide clinical and mentoring support to early career nurses and midwives and new employees caring for neonates requiring intensive, high dependency or special care and their families.

 

Key responsibilties:

  • Provide clinical support and mentorship to graduate and junior nurses
  • Promote evidence-based nursing practice and continuous improvement
  • Deliver bedside teaching and facilitate skill development
  • Collaborate with educators to enhance learning in clinical environments

 

About you:

The successful applicant will have the ability to facilitate training and competency assessments, ensure delivery of evidence-based care and support clinical learning.
