About the role:
Western Health is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced nurse to step into the role of Nurse Unit Manager - Medical/Surgical Unit (MSU) at Bacchus Marsh Hospital with the Division of Surgery, Endoscopy and Anaesthetic Services (SEAS). MSU is a 16 bed ward that cares for patients with chronic Medical conditions as well as Surgical patients who have undergone elective procedures. Key responsibilities:
- Model and reinforce (through reward or other means) the behaviours and actions outlined in the Western Health vision for Best Care
- Implement and maintain systems, materials, education and training that ensure staff deliver best care

Support the establishment of partnerships with patients, carers/families and the multidisciplinary team when designing, implementing and maintaining systems

Understand and address key local quality, safety and patient experience issues and the broader organisational goals and prioritised actions for Best Care
About you:
- Current registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA
- Possess excellent clinical, organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to high quality, safe and person centred care
