Occupational Therapist - Grade 2 casual hand therapist
Western Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate casual Occupational Therapist with a passion for hand therapy to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care for a predominantly traumatic caseload, including both surgical and conservative management. Our team is guided by the core values of Western Health—compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and safety. In line with our commitment to professional excellence, we promote evidence-based practice to ensure our therapists achieve the best outcomes for patients recovering from hand and upper limb conditions. This position is ideal for a motivated clinician with experience in hand therapy, eager to expand their expertise and make a meaningful contribution to patient rehabilitation.
To be Successful in this Role, you will:
- Have extensive knowledge and experience in hand therapy service provision
- Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
- Have strong collaboration skills
- Demonstrate consolidated clinical leadership skills
- Have experience in quality improvement and research
