An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, experienced and client centred, Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to work in the Specialised Rehabilitation program (Community Based Rehabilitation) at Western Health.

 

We are seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, who are excited about rehabilitation and occupation-based care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working within a collaborative team. The Specialised Rehabilitation service offers opportunities for professional development and quality projects and has strong links to the Occupational Therapy department.

This is a fixed term 1.0 EFT ending on 27 July 2025.

 

To be Successful in this Role, you will:

  • Have experience in providing goal-oriented physical rehabilitation to clients with a range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, chronic pain and aged related conditions
  • Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in quality improvement and/or research
  • Experience or ability to deliver patient care using innovative methodologies in a dynamic environment
