Join our dynamic team of passionate allied health professionals at the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children's Hospital as a Paediatric Grade 2 Occupational Therapist.

We are seeking applications from individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young children with opportunities on a full time or part time basis.

 

As a member of our highly skilled paediatric occupational therapy team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced senior staff who will provide you with the support and guidance you need to excel in your role.

The successful applicant will provide occupation-focused developmental screening for premature infants and intervention for young children with developmental delays or diagnosed disabilities. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure the best outcomes for the children and families you support.

This opportunity is available on a part-time (0.4 EFT), fixed term basis.

To be Successful in this Role, you will have:

  • Registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence
  • Valid employee status Working with Children Check
  • Experience working with children and caregivers to support development and engagement in occupations  
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing occupation-based, client centred occupational therapy care
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to service improvement initiatives
