The Division of Aged, General Medicine & Subacute Services is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated leader, for a senior leadership role as the Subacute and Residential Aged Care Operations Manager.  

 

Reporting to the Divisional Director, this role works across Williamstown and Bacchus Marsh campuses and is responsible for effective and efficient leadership, operational, financial and clinical governance.  The position will also be instrumental in leading and advising on all matters pertaining to aged care, ensuring that all components of the legislation and standards are achieved.  

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold AHPRA registration as a registered nurse or allied health professional
  • Clinical and management experience within a health service
  • Detailed understanding of aged care legislation, aged care standards/compliance, RACF, NDIS, OPA, VCAT, dementia management, community supports and discharge pathways
  • Ability to manage and lead people
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with others and work as an effective member of the team to deliver organisational outcomes
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Foster a culture that values a positive workplace and ongoing learning
