We are currently accepting applications for Health Services Assistance Traineeship with Western Health. A great opportunity to learn new skills and get paid while earning a qualification.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain Ward areas in a clean state in accordance with the specified work schedules and cleaning systems. Cleaning to include but not limited to floor care, high dusting, damp wiping, spot cleaning (including, walls, doors, internal glass, bathrooms & toilets, vents). Ensure floors, bedside lockers and over bed tables are clean and dry.
- Collect and segregate where required all types of waste from rooms within the work area. Store waste in designated collection points within the work area or remove to disposal the area in accordance with waste disposal guidelines.
- Provide a high level of service delivery as required and contribute to a safe work environment for all staff
Eligibility criteria:
All applicants must be either Permanent Residents or Australian or New Zealand Citizens. This Traineeship is designed to upskill applicants who do not hold a current Certificate III in Health Services Assistance HLT33115. All applicants who are currently studying any course need not apply.
