Pharmacy Student (Weekend)
- Location: Multiple Western Health sites
- Employment Type: Part-Time (8 hours/fortnight), Fixed Term (until December 2028)
- Salary: RQ9 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
About the role:
Western Health presents an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Student looking to build on what they’re learning at university and develop their operational and clinical skills within a hospital environment.
Key responsibilities:
As a key member of the pharmacy weekend team, the primary responsibility of this position is to support pharmacists and technicians in providing quality services to our patients in accordance with health services policies, procedures and legislation. These activities may involve assisting in dispensing medication and supplying wards with stock under the supervision of a pharmacist. This position is primarily to support weekend pharmacy services, however opportunities for weekday work may be available.
About you:
- Pharmacy Student commencing their 3rd or 4th year of studies in 2026
- Available part-time for one 8 hour shift per fortnight on alternate Saturdays
- Contract to cease on completion of pharmacy degree or on 31/12/2028, whichever is sooner
- Available to commence from January 2026
