Grade 2 Physiotherapist Rehab at Home Permanent Part Time

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist with neurological and musculoskeletal skills to join our collaborative and dynamic Rehab at Home team. Rehab at Home operates within the Division of Western Health at Home. Rehab at Home is a subacute bed substitution program that provides intensive rehabilitation to patients discharged early from hospital.

The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload, working as part of a highly skilled and collaborative, multidisciplinary team. The Grade 2 Physiotherapist will have the opportunity to further develop clinical leadership skills as they supervise allied health assistants and students, manage research, quality and service portfolios and be involved in the Western Health physiotherapy student teaching program. 

 

PERMANENT PART TIME 0.8 GRADE 2

 

To be Successful in this Role you will have:

  • Experience in assessing and managing clients with a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Experience working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
  • Experience or ability to quickly develop skills in delivering patient care via home-visiting, centre-based, aquatic and telehealth (Health Direct platform) modalities
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Experience supervising Physiotherapy students and/or Allied Health Assistant staff and/or Grade 1 Physiotherapists
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and/or research
