Grade 2 Physiotherapist Neurology and Falls – Rehabilitation at Home and Specialised (Community) Rehabilitation Program

 

A permanent Grade 2 opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced neurology stream physiotherapist to join our collaborative and dynamic Rehabilitation at Home and Specialised (Community) Rehabilitation Program (SRP) teams. These programs provide quality rehabilitation services within the division of Western Health at Home.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their clinical leadership skills as they supervise rotating Grade 1 physiotherapists and allied health assistants, manage research, quality and service portfolios and be involved in the Western Health physiotherapy student teaching program. 

 

This is a part-time (0.8 EFT), permanent position.

 

To be Successful in this Role you will need:

  • Experience in assessing and managing clients with a variety of subacute and chronic neurological, aged-related and vestibular conditions
  • Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience supervising Gr 1 and/or Allied Health Assistant staff and/or physiotherapy students
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and/or research
