Physiotherapist - Grade 3 Musculoskeletal Outpatients
We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team in a Grade 3 Musculoskeletal Outpatients and/ or Advanced Practice role.
About the role:

Part time (55 hours a fortnight)

Temporary role ending 30 June 2025

Grade 3 Musculoskeletal Outpatient and/or Advanced Practice caseload (dependant on applicant's experience and preference)
This Grade 3 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy position involves using your well consolidated skills and expertise to provide best care to the patients of the West, including assessment and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, fracture management, radiological ordering and interpretation. The role, based on the applicant, may include work in our Sunshine hospital Emergency Department and weekend shift work.
This position is supported by Grade 4 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists, and you will have access to key resources for success, such as supervision, tailored learning opportunities and departmental and advanced practice specific professional development. You will be joining a team with a supportive culture, that is dedicated to excellent patient outcomes, evidence-based practice and continuous improvement. There is also opportunity for Grade 3 staff to participate in supervision of postgraduate students, research projects and quality activities.
About our Musculoskeletal Team:
Western Health provides adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy outpatient services across three sites providing assessment and rehabilitation for orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. We also offer a range of Adult Musculoskeletal Advanced Practice services including:

Be committed to providing excellent patient care

Have well-developed skills in provision of care to musculoskeletal patients in an outpatient and/ or Advanced Practice capacity, including assessment and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, fracture management, radiological ordering and interpretation.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy, speciality and multidisciplinary teams

Ensure safe and high-quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
