Private Billing Manager
Western Health is seeking a skilled Private Billing Manager to lead the strategic management and continuous improvement of private patient billing and private practice operations.
As the Private Billing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimising revenue streams, ensuring compliance with Medicare, private health fund requirements, and hospital policies. Acting as a key liaison between finance teams, clinical departments, health funds, and regulatory bodies, you will ensure that private billing practices align with industry best practices and evolving healthcare regulation.
To be Successful in this Role you:
- Have experience in a Private Practice/Medicare Bulk Billing, desirably in a leadership position
- Have extensive knowledge of the Commonwealth Health Insurance Act, Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and the National Health Reform Act (NHRA)
- Can oversee and enhance private patient billing operations to maximize revenue and efficiency
- Experience in a public hospital or healthcare financial management is highly regarded
