About the role:

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational and clinical oversight of the Melton Community Mental Health Team. You will lead a multidisciplinary service and be accountable for service performance, workforce capability, clinical standards and quality of care. The role works in partnership with Mental Health and Wellbeing Local services to support coordinated service delivery across the catchment.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and accountability for service operations, including workforce, budget and performance
  • Lead delivery of high-quality care and uphold clinical standards in partnership with Lead Consultant(s)
  • Drive performance against activity, outcome and compliance KPIs
  • Ensure effective management of risk, incidents and governance requirements
  • Oversee designated Western Health–employed or funded EFT aligned to Local services

 

About you:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a multidisciplinary mental health service
  • Strong understanding of community mental health and recovery-oriented practice
  • Proven ability to lead workforce, performance and service improvement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability
  • Relevant clinical qualification with current registration
