About the Role:
Western Health is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the Maribyrnong Community Mental Health Team.
This senior leadership role is responsible for service performance, workforce management, risk, and quality of care in a high-demand public mental health environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading multidisciplinary community mental health services
- Managing workforce performance, capability, and wellbeing
- Overseeing operational and budget responsibilities
- Managing service risks and critical incidents
- Ensuring delivery of recovery-oriented, evidence-based care
- Building effective internal and external partnerships
- Contributing to service planning and continuous improvement
About You:
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in public mental health services
- Strong operational, governance, and risk management capability
- Sound professional judgement in complex clinical environments
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing budgets and performance targets
Essential Requirements:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Nursing
- Social Work
Postgraduate management qualifications are desirable.
