About the role 

Western Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic ERAS Program Manager to lead the systematic implementation of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) pathways.

 

Key responsibilities: 

As the ERAS Champion, you will partner with senior surgical and management leaders to drive evidence-based practice across the perioperative journey. Your key focus will be on reducing Length of Stay (LoS) and significantly improving patient outcomes.

 

About you: 

This high-impact role involves:

  • Leading implementation and auditing of new clinical pathways.
  • Managing staff and reporting compliance to key committees.
  • Providing clinical education to staff and pre-operative coaching to patients.
  • Collaborating nationally to propagate ERAS excellence across Australia.
