About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Support Officer to join the West Metro Local Health Service Network (LHSN) and play a key role in supporting the partnership between Western Health and Werribee Mercy Hospital. Reporting to the West Metro LHSN Director, the Project Support Officer will be responsible for the LHSN office administration, supporting governance and overall coordination across all workstreams and initiatives, as well as reporting to health services and the Department of Health.

 

Key responsibilties:

  • Provide administrative and governance support, including acting as Secretariat, preparing agendas, minutes, and action items.
  • Develop and distribute reports, updates, and communications to health services, stakeholders, and the Department of Health.
  • Support and coordinate West Metro LHSN initiatives and workstreams.
  • Monitor and report on project progress against timelines and milestones.
  • Maintain standardised systems for project documentation and records management.
  • Draft, format, and distribute professional correspondence, documents, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across Western Health, Werribee Mercy Hospital, the Department of Health, and other Networks.

 

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a project or administrative support role with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Experience in scheduling, meeting coordination, and minute taking.
  • High attention to detail and ability to develop systems to support governance and project management.
  • Skilled in problem solving and proactive in identifying effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
