Radiographer (Grade 2)
The Grade 2 CT Radiographer is an integral part of the Medical Imaging CT team.
The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the Grade 3 and 4 CT Radiographers in the delivery of an efficient and effective CT service across Western, Sunshine and Williamstown Hospitals.
The Grade 2 CT Radiographer ensures high quality diagnostic images are achieved using the ALARA principle.
To be Successful in this Role, you:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in CT
- Contribute to 24/7 day week rostering and on-call
- Assist the Grade 3/4 CT Radiographers in training and supervision of junior staff
- Under direction from the Grade 3/4 Radiographers assist with assessment and sign off of staff training
- As directed by the Grade 3/4 Radiographers will ensure audits for radiation safety and benchmarking are conducted and recorded accurately
- Will ensure that Student Radiographers/Intern Radiographers are supervised appropriately and perform examinations in accordance with Departmental policy and procedures, and within their skill level and scope of clinical practice
