About the Role:

This new role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be part of something special! Oversee Medical Imaging operations within the Peri-Operative Services Precinct (PSP) at the New Footscray Hospital.

You will manage the transition into the new suite and be an integral part of implementing a new service model within the newest hospital in Melbourne. The PSP suite contains DSA, Cath Lab, Hybrid imaging equipment and multiple II’s.

 

As the PSP Supervisor, you will guide and manage the medical imaging staff, manage daily operations, provide oversight and collaborate with Senior imaging modality leads and wider workforce within the PSP Suite.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Medical Imaging service in PSP.
  • Supervise and support radiographers rostered to DSA, Cath Lab, Hybrid Theatre and theatre II’s.
  • Ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, and resource management
  • Ensure exceptional standards of patient care and imaging quality
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental protocols and quality assurance in line with accreditation standards
  • Maintain advanced credentialling in at least one modality utilised within the PSP suite
  • Participate in out of hours rostering and call

 

About You: 

  • AHPRA-registered Radiographer with a current Radiation Use Licence (Victoria)
  • Working with Children card
  • Advanced clinical skills and experience with minimum 10 years experience in DSA, Cath Lab or CT
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, quality, and team collaboration
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
