About the role 
Western Health is excited to announce the opening of the new Medical Imaging Department at Sunbury Day Hospital and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced clinical radiographer site supervisor.

 

As the Radiographer Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing the daily operations of our satellite imaging service, which include; General Xray, CT and Ultrasound, while undertaking clinical duties. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new department from the ground up. You will be responsible for the supervision of radiographers on site, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and organisational policies.

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Medical Imaging Department
  • Supervise and support radiographers rostered to Sunbury Day Hospital Medical Imaging
  • Ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, and resource management
  • Ensure exceptional standards of patient care and imaging quality
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental protocols and quality assurance in line with accreditation standards
  • Clinical rostering primarily at Sunbury Day Hospital, with contribution to out of hours service provision of Western Health Medical Imaging

 

About you: 

  • AHPRA-registered Radiographer with a current Radiation Use Licence (Victoria) and Working With Children 
  • Advanced clinical skills and experience with minimum 10 years experience in General X-ray, CT, or both
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, quality, and team collaboration
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
