Recruitment Advisor
- Location: Hybrid Footscray (and Multi Site) and from home
- Employment Type: Full-Time Temporary until May 2026 (with view to extend)
- Salary: HS3–HS25
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Recruitment Advisor to join Western Health’s People and Culture Operations and Workforce Systems team.
Western Health operates an internal decentralised recruitment service, where Recruitment Advisors partner directly with hiring managers across all divisions to deliver tailored, customer-focused recruitment solutions.
In this role, you will provide expert advice on recruitment policy, process and compliance, coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing team that values innovation, teamwork and customer service.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work both onsite and from home, while supporting Western Health’s mission of Together, Caring for the West.
Key responsibilities:

Provide timely, high-quality recruitment and system advice and support to hiring managers.

Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including compliance checks and employment contract preparation.

Ensure all pre-employment verifications and work rights are completed accurately.

Support the delivery and continuous improvement of recruitment policies, systems, and training.

Partner with colleagues across People and Culture to support workforce planning and strategic recruitment initiatives.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum two years’ experience delivering generalist HR or recruitment services in a complex environment.

Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.

Proven ability to provide customer-focused service and manage competing priorities.

Sound understanding of HR systems and processes, with experience using SuccessFactors and/or SAP highly regarded.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline (desirable).
