About the role:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) nurse to join the team at Western Health for a 12-month period.  

 

Western Health Cardiology and Cath Lab service is one of the busiest in Melbourne and we pride ourselves on consistent delivery of a high standard of patient care including ongoing advancements in technology and research. 

 

The Western Health CCL (Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory) service is distributed across both the Footscray and Sunshine campuses, requiring flexibility in the movement of staff and patient lists to meet fluctuating patient demand, particularly during high-priority STEMI cases. 

 

The Cardiac Cath Labs have a strong emphasis on promoting positive workplace culture and is involved in numerous quality improvement projects within Western Health. 

 

About you: 

  • Hold a current AHPRA registration
  • Have recent acute Cardiac Cath lab experience
  • Have completed a post graduate qualification in critical care/cardiac nursing – preferred
  • Be accountable and demonstrate a strong emphasis on providing safe clinical care

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
