An exciting opportunity has become available for caring, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join the team within the Emergency Department at Sunshine Hospital and our brand-new Footscray Hospital opening February 2026.
Our Emergency Nurses have a strong clinical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with an inter-professional team to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care when facing potentially life-threatening conditions.
You will be supported by experienced Clinical Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Instructors who provide clinical education and supervision in this unit 7 days a week.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Excellent clinical skills.
- A commitment to high quality, safe person-centred care.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Emergency Care Nursing
- Valid Australian working rights
Highly desirable
- A Postgraduate in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing
- ALS training

Emergency Department – Williamstown Hospital
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and proactive Emergency Nurse to join the team at Williamstown Emergency Department in a 0.3 FTE position (3 days per fortnight).
As a dynamic and supportive Emergency Department, you will be welcomed by an exceptional ED team and a strong network of staff across Williamstown Hospital.
We are committed to your professional development and provide education and support to upskill, including achieving your Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate and developing competency as a Triage Nurse. We take pride in delivering high-quality care to our community every day. The Emergency Department operates from 0800 to 2300, seven days per week.
Williamstown Hospital is a 90-bed facility offering emergency services, surgical services, rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation and management (GEM), renal dialysis, as well as community rehabilitation and transition care services.
Registered Nurse – Nurse Pool
