An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced NICU nurse to join our progressive and innovative Newborn Services team.
There are approximately 7000 deliveries per year at Western Health and Newborn Services admits nearly 2000 patients a year. With funding for 30 beds, Newborn Services currently has 6 NICU beds as well as a combination of HDU and SCN beds. Construction is underway to expand our beds in the near future. There are opportunities for career progression as well as further study. There has never been a better time to join the exceptional team in the West. To be successful in this role, you will have:

12 months minimum of Australian Neonatal Intensive Care nursing experience

Excellent time management, communication skills and attention to detail

A positive and can-do attitude

Family centred care approach
Desirable

Postgraduate Certificate in Neonatal Care

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
