Renal Service Manager

About the role
This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a dedicated and experienced nursing or allied health professional to join the Western Health at Home team as the Service Manager for Renal Services.
As a key member of the Nephrology Leadership Team, you will play an integral role in driving team performance, strategic initiatives, budget management, business operations, and workforce planning. You will also contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative care models that reflect best practices. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key responsibilities:
- Leads, manages and is accountable for clinical/operational portfolios and projects as directed.
- Seek and promote equitable opportunities for multi-skilling across the Service to promote workforce flexibility and succession planning.
- Act as a senior resource and contact person for clinical and professional matters.
About you:
- Minimum 5 years' recent experience in Renal Services.
- Evidence of ability to engage, develop and lead high performing teams.
- An understanding of the clinical and Service complexities in delivering renal care.
- Knowledge of the state-wide model of renal service delivery across Victoria.
- Quality improvement and change management experience and success within health.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
