Senior Clinical Workflow Analyst
The role of Senior EMR Workflow Analyst in Digital Health is responsible for providing support and enhancing the EMR system, to ensure that use by clinical staff is optimised and continuously improving, contributing to the highest quality of care possible to patients of Western Health.
At a high level, key responsibilities include resolving incidents and problem resolution for front line staff, gathering and assessing change requests, providing training, testing of new functionality, conducting regression testing of current functionality during code upgrades or major projects and maintaining effective communication with end users.
As a Senior EMR Workflow Analyst you provide a focus of expertise and support to all clinical and non-clinical staff, provide expert guidance to any team of clinical and technical analysts involved in future EMR projects team in all aspects of documentation and care delivery design. Additionally, there will also be a requirement to include other clinical systems within the Digital Health portfolio, including Altera Health’s BOSSnet/Opal and Health Direct.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have completed a tertiary degree in healthcare, science or IT related field (or equivalent experience)
- Have Minimum 5 years experience in the design and implementation of EMR functionalities
- Have an expert knowledge level of Oracle Health EMR or an equivalent EMR system
- Have a demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows in the inpatient and outpatient setting
- Be proficient in functioning autonomously and within a complex team environment
