About the role 

Are you passionate about delivering person-centred care and making a meaningful impact in the community? Join our dynamic Specialised Rehabilitation Program (SRP) within Western Health at Home, where you’ll provide psychological services across inpatient, home-based, and virtual settings. This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients through assessment, treatment planning, and recovery. 

 

You’ll contribute to innovative models of care such as Rehabilitation at Home and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), and support clients with chronic pain and complex needs. Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and interventions
  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to support patient care
  • Provide consultation and education on mental health presentations and behavioural management
  • Support postgraduate psychology trainees under supervision (if applicable)
  • Contribute to service development, evaluation, and research initiatives 

 

About you:

  • You are a compassionate and skilled psychologist who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring:
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Clinical or Health Psychology
  • Current AHPRA registration with endorsement (or working towards endorsement)
  • Experience in adult clinical settings, ideally within public health or rehabilitation
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to inclusive care, especially for culturally and linguistically diverse communities
