The Vascular Unit at Western Health is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Locum Vascular Surgeon to join the team for long service leave cover.  The role of the Vascular Surgeon will be to provide high quality clinical care to the patients Western Health services, to supervise and train Junior Medical Staff and support Western Health strategic priorities.

 

There are ample opportunities for peer review and discussion, and the unit has a supportive and collegiate culture.

 

To be Successful in this Role you:

  • Must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Surgeons.
  • Must hold current Australian medical registration.
  • Must hold current ANZSVS Membership
  • The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate strong clinical skills and knowledge as well as possessing excellent communication and interpersonal aptitudes. A high level of commitment to top quality patient care is essential.
  • Must have experience in the support and supervision of Junior Medical Staff
  • Must have demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team.
