Requisition No:  3701
Executive Division:  Operations

Job Function:  Health Support Services
Project:  New Footscray Hospital

Western Health opens its new PPP New Footscray Hospital (NFH) in late 2025. WH will continue managing some operational services for staff working at the site, including clinical and non-clinical space management (desks, offices and meeting rooms). The site's design implements contemporary principles, which are relied upon for the building to accommodate more staff than there are desks, limited storage, and reliance on new systems and ways of working to achieve requirements of the shared office.

The Site Manager is a new role aimed at supporting staff through the unique changes and establish familiarity with the new building's design and principles. This is a 12 month contract starting asap to assist planning for the new site opening, anticipate challenges with the immediate changes at NFH, and will assess how lessons at NFH may enable similar benefits in the way admin and non-clinical areas are operated in other WH locations.

The successful applicant will have experience in managing contemporary office operations, familiar with change management principles, ideally with a large staff population, and experienced in navigating sensitive subjects while ensuring to maintain alignment with change objectives.
