Social Worker - Grade 3
Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Grade 3 Social Worker to joint our multidisciplinary team at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC), a maximum security women's prison.
This role forms part of a well supported and innovative team and the successful applicant will be onboarded with orientation and training to the custodial setting, including additional training to support the delivery of culturally appropriate, trauma informed, gender affirming care for all patients. This role is both operationally and clincially supported by Western Health.
The Grade 3 Social Worker role within DPFC involves the assessment and intervention to a range of populations, across such issues as family violence, child protection, women's health, grief and loss, aged and disability.
This role offers the opportunity for development in leadership and creative problem solving, with a mixuture of actue and subacute work.
