About the role:

We are seeking a Grade 2 Social Worker for a fixed term period (until the 30th of June 2026), on a part-time basis (30.4 hours per week/0.8 EFT) within our Integrated Community Health Services division.

 

The role aims to support clients in the local community to access the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) by advocating, supporting evidence gathering, supporting assessments and supporting the client with follow up following any outcomes to their applications.

 

The role will work alongside the multidisciplinary community health team and have access to regular supervision from a senior social worker.  The role will work across Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Caroline Springs.

  • Facilitation information gathering
  • Working collaboratively with clients to achieve outcomes

 

About you: 

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Bachelor/Masters of Social Work and eligibility for AASW Membership
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Knowledge around the NDIS application and appeals processes (highly desirable)
