Speech Pathologist - Grade 3
Are you a Speech Pathologist wanting to lead a growing acute team in Melbourne’s west?
A rare opportunity exists for an acute senior clinician to join our Speech Pathology Department in a temporary, part-time role at Footscray Hospital.
You will have clinical leadership of acute services across Western Health and will provide patient care in the acute and outpatient setting including ICU, ENT and Head & Neck services. As an integral member of the leadership team, you will promote creativity, team effectiveness and evidenced based patient care as we move into the New Footscray Hospital.

Temporary until March 2026 (leave backfill)
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Strong leadership skills, including proven interpersonal and communication skills

Expertise in complex dysphagia and communication assessment and management within the acute and outpatient setting

Experience in tracheostomy, FEES and ENT/Head & Neck is desired but not essential

Proven ability to lead and supervise staff and students
-
Commitment to continuous quality improvement, clinical research and professional development of self and others
